What I’m about

With over two decades of UX design experience, I’m a product designer involved from discovery to delivery. I’m interested in resolving complexity while communicating simplicity. I focus on strategy, collaboration, and outcomes – aiming to deliver value for both users and the business.

What you’ll find working with me:

  1. I’m a design generalist experienced in graphic design, product systems, and front-end dev.

  2. I’m comfortable operating in ambiguity and getting resourceful in pursuit of a solution.

  3. I’m confident I don’t know all the answers, I’m open to surprises.

What inspires me

Visual arts speak to me and I try to catch gallery shows to recharge. I paint as a process of working through visual compositions in my abstract art.

I try to stay open to new ideas in many fields and find reading books the best avenue for personal discovery. Whether it’s history, psychology, or sci-fi, I keep track on Goodreads.

What moves me

I’m a native of the northwest and like to get deep in the outdoors. Backpacking, mountain biking, and surfing are my top 3 sources of stoke. Gardening and birding bring me joy and fascination.

I live in Seattle with my wife, daughters, and pup (Coyo). When home, I’m cooking and planning our next travel destination. I’m grateful for all the people that are a part of my life and challenge me to do my best.
