Building a startup MVP with AI-assisted design and code

TELATRIS

Telatris is an early-stage, AI-focused SaaS startup built for Managed Service Providers. As founding designer, I shaped the product vision, designed the core UX flows, and coded the functional front end using v0 — an AI-powered tool that turns natural language prompts into production-ready UI code. A side project, contributed after hours and weekends alongside a full-time role.

The Telatris portal — a coded MVP delivered after hours, ready for backend integration.

Context

An early-stage startup needed to move fast — from product vision to functional prototype — with minimal resources and tight timelines.

Approach

I leveraged AI-assisted design and code tools to compress the design-to-development cycle, building real components that could plug directly into the backend.

Selected Work

Design system components, onboarding flows, and portal UI — all built with v0 and ready for production.

1

Design System

A complete component library with usage guidelines for engineering adoption.

Outcomes

Designed, coded, and shipped. In six months, after hours, I delivered a coded front-end platform built with v0 — real components from the design system, ready for the backend to plug into. Tables, alerts, toasts, and more — each with brief usage guidelines for engineering adoption. The design system and brand assets were also completed, giving the founding team everything needed to move into development and investor conversations.
